Through a series of detailed discovery sessions with UMS we discussed the vision, requirements and specifications for the new sites. From this, INSPIRED developed custom user experience design recommendations and planned the technical and information architecture required for the website project. Central to the project was ensuring that UMS’s digital marketing strategy and content strategy aligned with the overarching strategic marketing plan, to enhance the effectiveness of digital outcomes.
The user interface design makes effective use of strong branding elements, colour scheme and visual storytelling, whilst clearly communicating to users UMS’s wide-reaching expertise and ‘smarter service model’ aligned to the evolving needs of clients. Structurally the websites are large, communicating to the various user audiences via in-depth service and sector content, integrated employment portal and e-newsletter subscription.
Developed as fully responsive sites, the UMS digital platforms are search engine optimised, using best practice technical and keyword-based SEO principles. Google Analytics and Google Search Console are integrated with the sites, providing invaluable data on user experience and interaction.
