As avid supporters of the arts, INSPIRED jumped at the opportunity to create a custom website to showcase the work of Melbourne’s youth. INSPIRED developed a bespoke website design to connect with SIGNAL’s youth audience and provided solutions to showcase a wide range of digital artworks.
Presenting several program streams, the site features embedded video and audio works of varying lengths. With filterable content, users are able to search by the type of art they want to experience. All video works have been produced with closed captions to ensure maximum accessibility for users. A 3D online gallery which was created by a young artist was also included on the site, providing users with an immersive experience of ‘walking’ through a physical gallery, viewing artworks and learning about them.
The website has been important for building awareness of SIGNAL’s brand and programming, with INSPIRED developing logo designs to create identities for the program streams. The website also provides young people with relevant contact details to access the SIGNAL building and upcoming events.
The fully responsive site is search engine optimised, using best practice technical and keyword-based SEO principles. Google Analytics and the Google Search Console are integrated with the site, providing invaluable data on user experience and interaction, with INSPIRED supplying monthly performance reporting to the client.
